Marina Owners Invited To Attend
A meeting of all waterborne community residents and marina owners from Cowichan Bay Village has been scheduled for the evening of Tonight at 7pm.
To be held at the Maritime Center’s loft, the meeting will provide a forum for residents to discuss the process by which a temporary use permit can be acquired and thereafter amendments to the Draft Marine Bylaws can be applied for which will permit us to work towards eventual “legalization” and sewage hookup of marine residents and fair bylaws for the marina owners.
Part of this process will be the formation of a delegation which will approach various board(s) as required.
Also, a response to the article which appeared in the Cowichan Valley Citizen last Friday will be drafted. This will most likely appear in the paper as a letter to the editor in the name of all concerned. Your input is sought and valued.
